There’s
more to the Womens Institute than jam.
We enjoy
a varied selection of speakers covering diverse subjects from crafts and
beauty to history and travel.
You
will receive a warm welcome, and have the opportunity to discuss current
issues in a friendly and active group.
You can also join fellow members for lunch or theatre outings,
enjoy garden visits, and play scrabble or skittles. We
also get together with other institutes, which broadens our contacts.
And
by the way, we don't sing Jerusalem!
