Indoor Short Mat Bowls Club

Short mat bowls is played in the main hall.  It’s a new sport quickly spreading worldwide.  It appeals to all ages and nobody has to be experienced to join. 

Like golf, it provides equal moments of delight and frustration, but you’re never alone as we play in small teams that change every week. 

We plan to start competing with other local clubs next season.  There’s no obligation to be a competitor – so if you’d prefer, just play for the fun.

Date and Time:  On THURSDAY EVENINGS FROM 25TH NOVEMBER 2010

7.30 – 10:00 pm NB(season runs early September to late April)

Facilities: 2 mats, including a selection of bowls in various sizes and weights.

Skills required:  None

Equipment required:  None

Membership:  £15.00 per year

Cost per session: £2.50 including refreshments (taster evenings cost £3.00 per session)
